Like a year before in Nyköping there were a few guest drivers that participated in the race. They are not eligible to score points or receive medals, but they can affect others’ results. Mattias was fastest in Q1, but Berke showed the best lap time in Q2 in the reverse direction. The combined total best lap time was also shown by Berke and he took TQ. Mattias, however, was only 3rd, letting Niclas start 2nd in the Final. A local hero Norton was 5th and Igor, no matter how he tried, could only show 8th best lap time which was also the last.
During the race Berke-Niclas-Mattias kept this order, but Norton made some moves and overtook them one by one. This put him to the lead and eventually a victory. Igor managed to pass all guest drivers and finish 5th. Berke took valuable points, but Mattias is much closer now to his 2nd title! Race documentation is here.
